Tiger Woods finally made another birdie and finished off the third round with a 1-under 71, putting him in a three-way tie for the lead with Sergio Garcia and David Lingmerth in The Players Championship.

Woods and Garcia will each walk the fairways of the TPC Sawgrass with someone else on Sunday afternoon.

Lingmerth bogeyed the 18th for a 69 to finish on 11-under 205. Woods had four holes remaining in the storm-delayed third round and made a birdie on the 16th and three pars. Garcia had two bogeys, a birdie and a great par save on the 18th for a 72 to create the three-way tie.

Garcia and Woods had a rift over what Garcia thought was selfish play by Woods that caused crowd noise at the wrong time.
