Thomas Bjorn beat Craig Lee with a birdie on the first playoff hole to win the European Masters title Sunday.
Bjorn sank his 12-foot putt on the par-4 18th after Lee's birdie attempt from 15 feet slid left of the hole. Both finished regulation at 20-under 264 after missing 20-footers on the foggy, rain-swept final green.
Bjorn, the 2011 champion, missed left and completed his 65 before watching on television in the scorer's hut as Lee sought his first career title.

Lee led by two shots after his 61 on Saturday, but had his putt catch the right lip at No. 18 and carded a 67.
Victor Dubuisson of France was third, one shot back after shooting 66.
