Swiss Ammann wins first gold of Games

VANCOUVER (Reuters) - Switzerland's Simon Ammann won the first gold medal of the Vancouver Winter Olympics on Saturday in the normal hill ski jumping.

Poland's Adam Malysz won the silver medal and Austria's Gregor Schlierenzauer won the bronze medal.
