Sweden coach Erik Hamren was forced to leave John Guidetti off his final Euro 2012 roster, and has called on Markus Rosenberg to end a three-year international absence for next month's event.
Rosenberg, a 29-year-old forward who plays for Werder Bremen, will step in for Guidetti, who will miss the event with an inflamed thigh nerve. The 20-year- old Guidetti scored 20 goals in 23 games for Feyenoord this season.
Elsewhere, Guidetti has a wealth of experience as defender Olof Melberg will make his fourth Euro finals appearance, and Zlatan Ibrahimovic is among five who will make their third appearance in the finals.
