Sting will headline the halftime performance of the 2016 NBA All-Star game in Toronto on Feb. 14, the league announced on Thursday via an official release.

The NBA has mostly gone with pop stars or musicians from the hip-hop or R&B genres for the bulk of its recent All-Star performances, but in a move reminiscent of how the NFL chooses its halftime entertainment for the Super Bowl, the league has decided on someone who will potentially attract a much broader audience.

Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj performed at halftime of the 2015 event, which was held at Madison Square Garden in NYC.
