Stars sit as Orlando holds off Pacers' late charge for 96-93 preseason victory

Tobias Harris scored 16 points, Nikola Vucevic had 12 and the Orlando Magic held on for a 96-93 preseason victory over the Indiana Pacers on Friday night.

The Magic improved to 2-0 even while playing without Victor Oladipo and Channing Frye, who missed the game with knee injuries.

Six Pacers reached double figures, including Donald Sloan with 16 and Roy Hibbert with 13 points in 15 minutes.

Indiana (1-1) led 27-18 lead after one, but Orlando rallied to take a 47-46 halftime edge. The Magic extended the lead to 78-71 with 8:15 left in the fourth. Indiana cut the deficit to 84-83 but couldn't retake the lead.

David West and Paul George (broken leg) sat out for Indiana.
