Philadelphia, PA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Philadelphia 76ers announced Wednesday that they have signed forward Jarvis Varnado.
Varnado originally signed a 10-day contract with the Sixers on March 1. He has appeared in five games for the Sixers this season.
The Mississippi State product was selected by Miami in the second round of the 2010 draft and spent two seasons playing overseas before playing five games with Boston during the 2012-13 season. He then joined the Heat and played eight games later that season.
