Sidney Crosby and Nathan McKinnon work the drive-thru at Tim Hortons

Some lucky customers stopping by the Tim Hortons in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, on Monday received quite a treat. And that was in addition to the iconic Canadian franchise's coffee and donuts.

Pittsburgh Penguins star Sidney Crosby and Colorado Avalanche center Nathan MacKinnon were on hand working the drive-thru, and surprised customers while shooting a commercial for the chain.

The event brings back memories of one of the most famous donut moments in NHL history. For those of you who have forgotten, check it out below.
