The Seattle Seahawks' offensive line woes have them searching for help outside the building.

Two-time Pro Bowl offensive guard Evan Mathis "had a good visit" with the Seahawks on Saturday, according to FOX Sports 1's NFL insider Mike Garafolo. No deal is imminent, however, and the Seahawks will remain an option for him.

Mathis was released in June after an extended holdout during the Philadelphia Eagles' organized team activities.

Mathis was due to make a base salary of $5.5 million this year. The Seahawks have nearly $9.5 million cap room, according to the public salary cap report.

Since the Seahawks allowed James Carpenter to sign with the New York Jets this offseason, they have been struggling to find his replacement at left guard.
