Sabres, Blue Jackets swap forwards

Buffalo, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - The Buffalo Sabres acquired forward Jerry D'Amigo from the Columbus Blue Jackets Tuesday in exchange for forward Luke Adam.
D'Amigo. who was acquired by Columbus in July, registered a goal and two assists in 22 games last season for the Maple Leafs.
The 23-year-old has not played in the NHL this season, but has tallied three goals and seven points in 28 contests for Springfield (AHL).

Adam, 24, has posted 15 goals and 26 points over 87 career games with Buffalo over the past four seasons.
