A year ago, Ryan Briscoe captured the Indianapolis 500 pole and wound up five on race day.

After not finding a fulltime ride this season, Briscoe is back for another 500 former employer Chip Ganassi. A good showing in Indy this year, he hopes, will lead to something more for the Australian.

Briscoe has more experience and knowledge after spending the last five years with Team Penske than he did in 2005 when he first raced for Ganassi. And now Ganassi, too, hopes there could be a future for Briscoe whether it's more races this season or a fulltime ride in the future.
