Rockets regroup after Game 1 blowout, seeking ways to rev up offense against Thunder

For the Houston Rockets, the jitters that come along with making the playoffs for the first time should be gone now that Game 1 against the Oklahoma City Thunder is over.

There's still the matter of trying to solve the Thunder's versatile defense.

Coach Kevin McHale and the Rockets returned to Houston after a 29-point blowout, seeking ways to get the NBA's second highest-scoring offense back in gear before Game 2 in Oklahoma City on Wednesday night.

McHale said Monday that the Rockets' ball movement must be better and they can't settle for as many contested jump shots.

The Thunder's starters and top reserves hardly practiced, instead turning their focus to a film session and ways they could play even better.
