Josh Hamilton is leaving Texas, but staying in the American League West.
The free agent outfielder has reportedly agreed to a five-year, $125 million contract with the rival Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.
It's the second consecutive year the Angels made a big splash in free agency. Last December the club landed Albert Pujols and C.J. Wilson, Hamilton's former teammate with the Rangers.

Hamilton has batted .304 in 737 career games, all but 90 with Texas, and helped the club capture consecutive AL pennants in 2010 and '11.
The 31-year-old Hamilton hit .285 with a career-high 43 homers and 128 RBI in 2012. Two years earlier, he was named the AL MVP after batting a robust .359 with a 1.044 OPS.
A recovering addict, Hamilton has clubbed 161 homers and driven in 553 runs since reaching the majors with Cincinnati in 2007.
