It seems that just about every week we can rely on the New Orleans Saints to make headlines for bringing in a few players for workouts. This week is apparently no different.

According to Field Yates of ESPN, the team has decided to bring in both a linebacker and another running back for a tryout.

Both are interesting names, and have obviously had some success in the NFL. For Jones, he's totaled 263 combined tackles over 83 career games, with 10 sacks and six pass deflections.

As for Ballard, he's rushed for 877 yards and two touchdowns in just over a season with the Indianapolis Colts, while also catching 18 passes for 147 yards and an additional score.

It'll be worth monitoring whether or not either of these players are able to get picked up by the Saints when all is said and done.
