After the Houston Rockets lost Josh Smith in free agency to the Los Angeles Clippers, they've apparently decided to sign a different Josh Smith, coincidentally, from UCLA.

Joshua Smith, an undrafted center who played for both UCLA and Georgetown, has reached an agreement with the Rockets.

Details of the signing, including if the deal is simply a camp invite or includes guaranteed money, have not yet been released.

Smith could potentially provide depth at center behind Dwight Howard and Donatas Motiejunas, who is still recovering from a season-ending back injury.
