Pitt coach Paul Chryst is ready to get to work as the Panthers prepare for their first year in the ACC.
Following a lame duck season in the Big East that saw Pitt finish with a 6-7 record, Chryst says he can feel momentum building as the players prepare for the opener against Florida State on Labor Day night.
This fall marks the first time since 2009-10 the Panthers have started consecutive years with the same coach. Entering his second season at the helm, Chryst downplays the notion that this is "his program."

Chryst brushed off the talk of low expectations after the Panthers were chosen to finish fifth in their division in the ACC. He says he expects his team to take a step forward.
Pitt opens training camp Tuesday.
