Redskins' Griffin highlights NFC weekly winners
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III, San Francisco 49ers linebacker Aldon Smith and Cowboys kicker Dan Bailey were recognized as the NFC's top Week 11 performers.
Griffin completed 14-of-15 passes for 200 yards and four touchdowns while also leading the team with 84 yards on the ground in a 31-6 rout of the Philadelphia Eagles to earn his second offensive award in his rookie season. With his 61-yard touchdown strike to Santana Moss in the contest, Griffin became the first player in NFL history with at least three 60-yard TD passes and a 60-yard touchdown run in a season.
Smith took home the defensive honor with a career-high 5 1/2 sacks, seven tackles and two forced fumbles in the 49ers' 32-7 victory over the Chicago Bears on Monday night.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Bailey connected on all three field-goal attempts, including the game-tying 32-yard kick late in the fourth quarter and the decisive 38-yarder in overtime, in a 23-20 win over the Cleveland Browns to receive the special teams award. His other field goal came from 44 yards out.
