Cincinnati Reds manager Bryan Price will return for the 2016 season, general manager Walt Jocketty told reporters Saturday.

There had been speculation that Price would be let go because of the team's poor season. Entering Saturday's play, the Reds were 63-97, in last place in the NL Central and mired in a 13-game losing streak.

Earlier this week, FOX Sports Insider Ken Rosenthal reported the team was considering retaining Price.

Price is in his second season as Reds manager. He led Cincinnati to a 76-86 record in 2014.
