Power beats new IndyCar points leader Dixon when race ends following Franchitti accident

Will Power held off new IndyCar championship leader Scott Dixon to win the second race of the Grand Prix of Houston on Sunday. The race ended when Dario Franchitti's car went airborne into the fence on the final lap.
Franchitti was taken to a hospital, but team owner Chip Ganassi said he was alert and complaining only of a sore ankle and back.
Dixon took over the IndyCar points lead 11 laps into the race when Helio Castroneves' car stopped on the course because of a broken gearbox.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Dixon didn't force the issue with Power, who was doing all he could to hold off Power and help teammate Castroneves by denying Dixon any more points.
