Pitbull's quest for sports world domination continues at Copa America Centenario

Pitbull sings the anthem to basically every song played during every sporting event. I'm pretty sure the NBA and FIFA both have him on retainer and almost every other organization has tapped him before. That's without getting into all the networks who like to play his music as they go in and out of commercials during games.

Now Pitbull can add another sports event to his resume: Copa America Centenario.

That's right, Pitbull is the man bringing us "Superstar," the anthem to this summer's tournament, featuring Becky G.

Becky G is a nice additions seeing as she is reportedly dating the LA Galaxy's Sebastian Lletget so there's a soccer tie-in there. And Pitbull actually makes some sense with this song because he can sing in English and Spanish, which works for a tournament that will feature countries from both of those languages, not to mention Portuguese and French.

Fitting or not, Pitbull was always going to get this assignment. He may have ditched the Cuba baseball jerseys for suits a decade ago, but he is still looking for total sports world domination. Just turn on a TV and listen for it - the beat, the rhythm and then out of nowhere "¡DALE!"
