Pinto agrees to new Barca contract
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Barcelona has announced that goalkeeper Jose Manuel Pinto has agreed to a new contract, which will be finalized in the coming weeks.
Pinto's current deal was due to expire at the end of this campaign, but his new contract will tie him to Barca until June 2014.
Since joining the Catalan side from Celta Vigo on loan in 2008 to provide cover for regular goalkeeper Victor Valdes, the 37-year-old Pinto has made 54 first-team appearances, with the majority coming in the Copa del Rey.
