Free-agent quarterback Dennis Dixon will have a workout with the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, a person familiar with Dixon's plans confirmed to The Associated Press.

The person spoke on the condition of anonymity because the Bills haven't announced Dixon's visit. Dixon was cut by Philadelphia in August.

FoxSports.com first reported Dixon's workout. NFL.com also reported that Pat White, the former Washington and Miami quarterback, worked out for the Bills on Saturday.

The Bills are in need of help at quarterback after rookie EJ Manuel injured his right knee Thursday night in a loss at Cleveland. Manuel has a sprained lateral collateral ligament and is expected to miss several weeks. The Bills currently have only one healthy quarterback on their roster, undrafted rookie Jeff Tuel.
