With 1.5 sacks in the first quarter against the Chicago Bears, Green Bay Packers outside linebacker Julius Peppers passed Hall of Famer Derrick Thomas on the NFL's all-time career sack leader board, according to Ryan Wood of Press-Gazette Media.

Peppers is now tied with DeMarcus Ware with 127.0 career sacks, which ranks 14th on the all-time list. Jared Allen (134.0) and John Abraham (133.5) are the only active players with more sacks.

At 35 years old, Peppers is in his 14th season in the league and still makes an impact for the Packers.
