Pats WR Edelman arrested
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman was arrested early Tuesday morning for indecent assault and battery.
WBZ-TV reported that the 25-year-old was taken into custody around 1:30 a.m. (et) in Boston's Back Bay section for allegedly groping a woman inside a restaurant.
According to the station, Edelman was celebrating Halloween with three of his teammates at a restaurant in nearby Copley Square. He denied that the incident took place.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Edelman was told at his arraignment on Tuesday to stay away from the alleged victim, who was unidentified, as well as the establishment where the alleged incident took place.
