Palace manager says US investment will enable EPL club to look to 'future with expectation'

Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew says investment by American sports tycoons would enable the Premier League club to "look forward to a future with expectation."
David Blitzer and Josh Harris, who co-own the NBA's Philadelphia 76ers and the NHL's New Jersey Devils, have been in talks with Palace for more than a year about buying a stake.
Full details are yet to be disclosed but Pardew on Thursday indicated a deal is expected to be concluded.

At a news conference, Pardew said Blitzer and Harris "bring experience of other sports and managing sports clubs bigger than ourselves ... the backing does mean improvements to our ground."
