O'Neill, Kentucky hold off Auburn

Auburn, AL (SportsNetwork.com) - Jennifer O'Neill had 16 points and four assists as No. 10 Kentucky held off Auburn, 73-71, on Sunday.
Samarie Walker added 13 points and 10 rebounds for the Wildcats (15-3, 3-2 SEC), who have won two in a row since dropping two straight.
Tyrese Tanner netted 28 points for Auburn (11-7, 2-3), which has dropped four of its last six tilts.

Kentucky trailed by as many as 13 in the first half before rallying in the second half.
Meagan Tucker's jumper pulled Auburn within 73-71 with 1:07 left, but the Wildcats took the ensuing 1:01 off the clock. O'Neill missed a pair of 3- pointers, but Linnae Harper and Walker snatched the offensive rebounds.
Walker, though, missed two free throws with six seconds remaining, but Auburn was unable to get a final shot off.
