CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – North Carolina athletic director Dick Baddour says the tutor linked to possible academic violations in the football program has refused to speak with school investigators.
The tutor, Jennifer Wiley, graduated in 2009. She did respond Friday to a request for comment.
Baddour says the school has contacted her several times, though the inquiry has moved forward with "a tremendous amount of material" without her. The possible academic violations emerged after the NCAA launched a probe into agent-related benefits over the summer.
The status of 10 players remains in question going forward, though none of them traveled with the team for this weekend's game at Rutgers.
