NJIT knocks off South Dakota 76-68

Jheryl Wilson scored 28 points and New Jersey Institute of Technology scored the game's final nine points to take a 76-68 victory over South Dakota on Saturday.
Chris Flores had 21 points and eight rebounds for the Highlanders (11-12, 5-1 Great West Conference), who have won four consecutive games and are 9-2 in their past 11.
South Dakota (12-12, 4-3) led 68-67 before NJIT's Dytanya Johnson hit two free throws to give the Highlanders the lead for good with 1:41 left.

Wilson hit a layup for a 71-68 lead with 41 seconds to go and NJIT sealed it at the free-throw line, going 5 of 6 to close the game.
The Coyotes were 0 for 8 from the field in the final 1:41.
Isaiah Wilkerson added 10 points for NJIT, which had 13 assists to seven turnovers.

Charlie Westbrook scored 25 points, Kendall Cutler had 13 and Jake Thomas added 12 points for South Dakota.
