Denver Broncos quarterback Mark Sanchez helped make prom night special for over 100 teenagers at Children's Hospital Colorado.

Sanchez was a surprise guest at the hospital's 10th annual prom for patients on Friday, which was held at Sports Authority Field for the first time. Children's Hospital puts on the "Night of Champions" event each year for teenagers that are unable to attend their own proms because they're too sick.

"If they ever felt like they missed out on something... for Children's Hospital to do this, it's pretty impressive," said Sanchez (via CBS Denver).

The red carpet was literally rolled out for the prom-goers, who were also treated to hair and makeup styling and fashionable formal wear from local donors.

Sanchez spent the evening visiting with the teens, signing autographs and taking photos -- which caught him "dabbing" and striking a "Charlie's Angels" pose.

The Broncos QB said he was happy to be part of something that allows him to give back to the community.

"I just think it's important when you've been blessed like I have -- like any guy on our team has -- you've got to be a blessing to other people," Sanchez told the Denver Post. "You've got to give back. I didn't get here on my own. You owe a lot to a lot of other people -- people who took time out of their day to come and give you encouragement, to come and help you, to take you to practice and do stuff. This is what that is."
