Orono, ME (SportsNetwork.com) - The University of Maine will pay visits to a pair FBS programs to open its 11-game 2015 schedule announced on Tuesday.
The Black Bears, who finished 5-6 this past season a year after winning the CAA Football championship, will head to Boston College on Sept. 5 and, following a bye, Tulane on Sept. 19.
Maine will play five home games - against CAA opponents Rhode Island (Sept. 26), Stony Brook (Oct. 24), Towson (Nov. 7) and Elon (Nov. 14), and Ivy League member Yale (Oct. 17)

"When we informed our team of the 2015 schedule, I was taken by the level of excitement in the eyes of our players," said coach Jack Cosgrove, who has a 126-127 record in 22 seasons guiding Maine. "This is as challenging a schedule as we've ever encountered here, too - two FBS games and a great Ivy League opponent in Yale for our non-conference slate. The CAA segment speaks for itself, we need to be ready each and every Saturday."
