Luis Scola's 35 points help Argentina get past Canada at Olympic qualifiers

Luis Scola signed with the Toronto Raptors in free agency this summer, but his most recent performance won't exactly endear him to his new team's fans.
Playing for Argentina at the Olympic qualifying tournament in Mexico City on Tuesday, Scola scored 35 points and grabbed 13 rebounds to help his team take down Canada by a final of 94-87.
Scola was 13-of-26 from the field, which is an extremely high number of attempts for him. Last season with the Pacers, the 35-year-old averaged less than eight shot attempts per game, and finished the season with averages of 9.4 points and 6.5 rebounds in 20.5 minutes per contest.
