Luis Scola named FIBA Americas MVP, becomes all-time leading scorer

The Raptors signed Luis Scola to a one-year deal for just $2.9 million this summer, and if the way he's played in the FIBA Americas tournament for Argentina is any indication, the deal could turn out to be quite a steal.
Scola was not only named the MVP of the tournament after leading his team to a second-place finish with averages of 21.1 points and 10.1 rebounds per contest, but he also became the all-time leading scorer, passing Brazilian legend Oscar Schmidt to grab the top spot on the list.
