La Salle defeats Quinnipiac in the final seconds for a 73-67 win

Jerrell Wright scored 11 points and grabbed 12 rebounds as La Salle held off Quinnipiac in the final seconds to win 73-67 Tuesday.
Wright finished with two assists and two blocks and only drew one personal foul. Quinnipiac pulled within two points (67-65) with 37.7 seconds left to play. Tyrone Garland scored the last four points of the game for the Explorers, including a dunk and two free throws, to seal the win. Coming off the bench, Garland finished with 12 points and three rebounds.
It was a close matchup, with the largest lead at 27-18 for La Salle. The Bobcats took their first lead since the opening basket at 47-46 with 11:38 left to play.

Kasim Chandler led Quinnipiac with 19 points, three rebounds and four assists.
The Explorers went to the NCAA Tournament's Sweet 16 last year and returned four starters this season.
