Kemp continues to lead All-Star voting for NL

Dodgers outfielder Matt Kemp continues to lead All-Star voting in the National League.

Kemp had 3,322,009 votes in the third update from Major League Baseball released Tuesday.

Melky Cabrera of the Giants jumped ahead of Ryan Braun of the Brewers to take over the third starting outfield spot behind Kemp and the Cardinals' Carlos Beltran.

In addition, Cardinals shortstop Rafael Furcal has overtaken the top spot at his position, moving ahead of an injured Troy Tulowitzki of the Rockies.

Reds first baseman Joey Votto, Braves second baseman Dan Uggla, Giants catcher Buster Posey and Mets third baseman David Wright also led their respective positions in voting.

The All-Star Game will be played July 10 at Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City.
