Jets release Antonio Cromartie after subpar '15 season

Antonio Cromartie's days in New York are done.

The New York Jets announced their decision to release the cornerback on Monday.

Cromartie, who has played in the league for 10 years, struggled last season which makes this move not very surprising.

The Jets signed Cromartie to a four-year, $32 million deal last March after he played one year in Arizona. Cromartie was due $8 million in 2016, but carried no more guaranteed or dead money on his deal.

Cromartie shouldn't struggle to find work as we enter the new league year, but it will be interesting to see what type of market he commands.
