BK Racing announced Tuesday that drivers J.J. Yeley and Jeb Burton are swapping rides ahead of next weekend's Bojangles' Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway.

Yeley will move over to the organization's No. 26 Toyota led by crew chief Patrick Donahue, while Burton takes over the No. 23 Toyota where he will work with crew chief Joe Williams.

Neither driver has a top-10 finish this year. Burton, a rookie and the son of 2002 Daytona 500 champion Ward Burton, has failed to qualify seven times.

"We are trying something different to improve performance for BK Racing," owner Ron Devine said in a statement released by the organization. "We are confident and proud of our drivers and employees, but we are looking to try some different combinations to improve our results."
