Washington, DC (SportsNetwork.com) - Carolina Hurricanes forward Riley Nash has been diagnosed with a concussion, coach Bill Peters said on Tuesday.
Nash missed Sunday's game against Boston after taking a puck to the head during pregame warmups.
"Hopefully it's not a severe concussion, but with those you never know," Peters said. "We'll just monitor that day-to-day, and he'll go through the protocol."

Nash has eight goals and 17 assists in 68 games this season.
He did not make the trip to Washington and Florida with the team.
