Houston signs G Boykins to 10-day contract

The Houston Rockets on Monday signed guard Earl Boykins to a 10-day contract.

The 5-foot-5 Boykins averaged 7.2 points and 2.5 assists over 57 games with the Bucks last season.

In 644 games over his 12-year NBA career, the 35-year-old Eastern Michigan product has averaged 8.9 points, 3.2 assists and 1.3 rebounds with Milwaukee, Washington, Charlotte, Denver, Golden State, Cleveland, Orlando, New Jersey and the Los Angeles Clippers.
