Giants RT Marshall Newhouse leaves practice early

Just when the New York Giants get one projected starting offensive lineman back from injury, another one goes down. Projected starting right tackle Marshall Newhouse was forced to leave practice early on Sunday.
Newhouse was "overheated" on a 90-plus-degree day, according to the Giants, per Jordan Raanan of True Jersey. He left the field and was taken inside the facility to be treated.
Newhouse has been working as the team's starting right tackle throughout training camp. He was inserted into the staring lineup after Will Beatty tore his pectoral muscle in May. Prior to this season, Newhouse has struggled when asked to step in as a starter.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}In his absence, projected right guard Geoff Schwartz took some snaps at right tackle. The Giants' offensive line is arguably the team's biggest question mark after the safety position right now. The play of the first team unit during the team's preseason opener played a major role in the offense's inability to get in rhythm.
