Francesco Molinari leads by 2 shots at Wentworth after shooting a round of 69
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Francesco Molinari recovered from two bogeys in his first three holes to shoot a 3-under 69 on Friday and retain a two-shot clubhouse lead in the second round of the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth.
The Italian made five birdies, including three on the back nine, to reach 10-under in the European Tour's flagship event.
Molinari says "the start was very difficult" but he "managed to steady the ship to make it another good day."
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Emiliano Grillo was two shots back after an impressive round of 65, where he made two eagles on the back nine.
The Argentine also holed a steep uphill putt from nearly 50 feet at the 15th for a birdie.
