The whirlwind recruitment of Mississippi defensive lineman Raekwon Davis took a bit of a wild turn recently, as the U.S. Army All-American appeared to be poised to flip his commitment from Alabama to Mississippi State then back to the Crimson Tide. Confused yet?

Well Davis is back in the news, this time the four-star prospect is ready to reclaim his allegiance to the Tide and once again committed to Alabama's 2016 recruiting class:

While this piece of news would seemingly end the recruitment of one of the Magnolia State's best prospects, Davis appeared ready to change his commitment following his official visit to Starkville Jan. 16. Don't be surprised to see the MSU staff in need of impact defensive lineman continue to push the in-state player toward State.

Although, given the Tide's recent track record of producing some of the best defensive linemen in the country, Davis may have found the best spot for himself. The huge 6-foot-7, 318-pound lineman appeared thankful to have this decision behind him Wednesday.

With National Signing Day less than a week away, Davis is certainly a name to keep an eye on. Could he flip one more time before it's all said and done?
