Flames' Tanguay out 4-6 weeks

Calgary Flames forward Alex Tanguay was diagnosed with a Grade 2 sprain of the medial collateral ligament in one of his knees, and will be out 4-to-6 weeks.

Tanguay suffered the injury during Friday's 3-2 overtime win over Phoenix, when he became tangled with the Coyotes' Kyle Chipchura at the boards.

The 33-year old has 11 goals and 27 points in 40 games with the Flames this season.

In addition, forward Curtin Glencross will miss Saturday's game against Edmonton due to the flu. Forward Akim Alu and center Ben Street have been recalled from Abbotsford of the American Hockey League to fill the open roster spots.
