Fenlon to face St Johnstone in first Hibs match
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Pat Fenlon became the new manager of Hibernian on Friday and he will watch his new side from the stands on Saturday at McDiarmid Park as Hibs takes on St Johnstone.
Billy Brown will be on the touchline for Hibs after taking charge on a caretaker basis for the 1-1 draw with Kilmarnock last weekend, and Brown will enjoy having a full squad to choose from.
Striker Garry O'Connor was battling an illness during the week but is expected to be fit, while Fenlon knows that he has a challenge ahead in order to turn things around at the club.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}"In order to move Hibernian forward there will need to be a lot of hard work and a clear change in mindset shown collectively by the team," Fenlon said. "There are a lot of quality players on Hibernian's playing staff and it is now my job to make sure they function as a team."
The 42-year-old Fenlon moves to Edinburgh from Irish side Bohemians after signing a contract that ties him to the team until the end of the 2013-14 season.
Previous coach Colin Calderwood was sacked on November 6 after securing just 12 wins in 49 matches in charge, with Fenlon becoming the ninth manager in 10 years for Hibernian.

St Johnstone is also breaking in a new boss with Steve Lomas taking charge of his first home match with the club.
Under Lomas the Saints claimed a 0-0 draw with first-place Rangers last time out.

Aberdeen is above last-place Inverness on goal difference and visits East End Park to face Dunfermline, which lies just one point ahead, with Inverness traveling to Hearts and Dundee United invading Motherwell in Saturday's other match.
The lone game on Sunday sees Rangers try to bounce back from a scoreless draw in its last match against bottom-half side Kilmarnock.
