Fast-starting Jacksonville rips Kennesaw St. 87-59

Travis Cohn scored 24 points in 25 minutes and Jacksonville snapped a two-game losing streak with an 87-59 rout of Kennesaw State on Saturday night.
The Dolphins (12-6, 6-3 Atlantic Sun Conference) jumped out to a 30-5 led and held a 44-17 advantage at halftime. The Owls could draw no closer than 20 points in the second half.
The Owls' 17 points was the lowest total in a half since Jan, 7, 2010, when East Tennessee State held them to 13 points. The Dolphins' point total was the highest against an NCAA Division I team since scoring 91 points against the Owls last season.

Glenn Powell added 18 points, Ayron Hardy had 13 and Delwan Graham had 12 points and 13 rebounds for the Dolphins.
Jacksonville outrebounded the Owls 45-29 and had 23 second-chance points.
Markeith Cummings led the Owls (5-14, 3-6) with 20 points and LaDaris Green added 13.
