Falcons' Baker, Dent out for Monday night

Flowery Branch, GA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Atlanta Falcons have declared both offensive tackle Sam Baker and middle linebacker Akeem Dent out for Monday night's game against the New York Jets.
Both players exited Sunday's 30-23 loss to New England with injuries. Baker aggravated a previous problem with his left knee in the second quarter, while Dent sprained his right ankle in the second half.
Baker also missed Atlanta's Week 3 matchup at Miami with a knee injury. Second-year pro Lamar Holmes, who had been displaced by Jeremy Trueblood as the starting right tackle, will likely move into Baker's spot on the left side against the Jets.

Dent's unavailability leaves the Falcons further short-handed at linebacker, with Sean Weatherspoon presently on injured reserve/designated to return with a sprained right foot and rookie Paul Worrilow sitting out Thursday's practice with a knee ailment.
Running back Steven Jackson (hamstring) and cornerback Asante Samuel (thigh) also did not work in Thursday's session. Jackson is expected to be out a third straight week with his injury.
