Did Brandon Marshall just defend the Colts' botched fake punt?

The Indianapolis Colts found themselves as the laughingstock of the football world after their infamous botched fake punt agains the New England Patriots on Sunday night. Very few, if any, came to their defense, especially after punter Pat McAfee revealed more details about the play.
However, New York Jets wide receiver Brandon Marshall may be the first to defend Chuck Pagano and the Colts.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}"You have to take chances like this at this level," Marshall said on "Inside the NFL" Tuesday night. "Now if this guy would have picked up the fourth-and-[3], now everybody [would be] crowning him as a hero."
The only problem is that there was close to a zero-percent chance the Colts were going to pick up the first down with one blocker and four defenders on the line. However, it's easy to see where he's coming from.
The execution was poor, but the intent was there. Snapping the ball wasn't supposed to happen, but mistakes are made on the field, and the Colts clearly know that now.
