North Carolina State offensive tackle Rob Crisp will return to the Wolfpack after missing nearly all of last season with a concussion.
Crisp was hurt in the second game and didn't play the rest of the year. Coach Dave Doeren said Monday that the senior, who hadn't taken a redshirt year, was granted a medical redshirt for last season.
In addition, Doeren said the team is trying to get a sixth year for safety Jarvis Byrd, who suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his knee for the third time in his career last year at Wake Forest.

N.C. State is scheduled to start its second set of spring practices Tuesday under Doeren, who won three games and went winless in Atlantic Coast Conference play in his first year.
