True freshman QB Jake Browning sat out Washington's 31-14 loss to Stanford last Saturday while he recovers from a right shoulder injury. Head coach Chris Petersen believes that his QB will be back soon and says Browning is getting better.

"Every day he gets a little bit better," Petersen said, per The Seattle Times.

Washington hopes to have Browning back by Saturday when it takes on Arizona in Seattle. If Browning is unable to go, Petersen will turn to K.J. Carta-Samuels, who starter against Stanford.
