Charles Woodson claims last weekend's loss was the toughest of his 18-year career.

That's saying something. If the Raiders legend means it -- and it's just not postgame hyperbole -- then the Chiefs might've scored a landmark victory.

A four-team battle is already brewing in the AFC West for post-Peyton supremacy. Oakland fielded one promising squad with playoff aspirations. The Chiefs effectively spoiled them.

There's no telling what kind of momentum the Chiefs squashed with it. A Raiders win could've sparked a playoff run. There's nothing more dangerous than a young team with playoff experience in your own division.

Instead, the Chiefs will probably get that experience -- and they'll probably clinch their playoff spot against these Raiders. For Chiefs fans, there's nothing sweeter.
