Chargers fans must've tossed a few remotes watching yet another lineman leave the game.

This time, guard Orlando Franklin needed a cart. But his prospects are much more promising than they seemed against the Raiders.

Franklin must be relieved. He might not have to miss more time after a high ankle sprain forced him out of the lineup for three long weeks.

His team has a little wiggle room now, too. The veteran can play both guard and tackle -- something he might have to do if this season keeps taking its toll on San Diego's front five.
